Autumn in the Garden

Autumn is one of my favourite times of year, it feels extra special this year with the cooling of the air after such a hot summer. I have been working on a couple of design projects and new planting schemes. One garden we planted a couple of years ago and the client’s would like to continue with more planting to really knit the beds together and give the garden a fuller feel.

Next week I will be starting work on a larger design of two terraces which I am really looking forward to getting stuck into. This is a really great time to get in touch about design work and to be added to the Autumn and Winter design queue. It is the perfect way to enjoy your garden as much as possible next spring and summer.

The garden and tree work have been keeping us busy, with a couple of trees falling from the dry weather followed by Autumn wind. I have made a couple of drawings inspired by the plants in our garden which I have listed on my artist website if you would like to have a look here.

I hope you have a lovely Autumn,

Liza and the team at Mackintosh Martin
