Cut Flowers
One of the great joys of having a floral garden is creating beautiful bouquets to enjoy throughout the summer and into autumn. It allows you to bring your beautiful garden indoors.
How to create a cut flower bouquet:
Cut your flowers early in the morning to avoid the midday heat
Cut the stem as long as possible with sharp scissors
Pop the flowers straight into a bucker of cold water before arranging in a vase
Once you are ready to arrange your flowers, cut off all the lower leaves and dip sappy stems quickly in boiling hot water before putting into a glass / ceramic vase to enjoy indoors.
To add volume and interest to your bouquet you can add grasses and tree leaves for beautiful foliage.
