August in the Garden

We have had a great month gardening for you this July, working hard to help keep on top of weeds, hedge cutting and generally our team have been working hard to help make your gardens as enjoyable for you as possible.

In early July we visited Great Dixter garden, it was a symphony of colour to explore. We soaked in the borders as well as weaving and ducking through them as they are bursting with vivacious growth. This garden really allows plants to express themselves, encouraging the weird and wonderful forms that the variety of plants planted here offer.

We also made a trip up to Surrey to visit the Hampton Court Flower, it is a great opportunity to see the show gardens and explore how different designers compose the spaces they create. As well as see and learn about different and new plants. I have spent some time in the garden drawing plant forms when I can and have come one step closer to completing my design course this month.

This month we will be hedge cutting, pruning, staking and cutting back, dead heading and of course weeding and working on a couple of design projects.

We can’t wait to continue working on your beautiful gardens,
